On December 12, 2024, the European Researchers' Night (ERN) event was organized by the ERN Apulia MED project in collaboration with SUSNANO at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Natural Sciences. This Europe-wide initiative, supported by the European Union, aims to bridge the gap between science and society, encouraging young people to pursue careers in research.
During the event, the SUSNANO project team engaged with the public through interactive activities and live demonstrations. A key highlight was the preparation of printed sensors for environmental applications, showcasing innovative approaches to sustainability and scientific advancements. Participants had the opportunity to explore hands-on experiments, interact with researchers, and gain insights into cutting-edge technologies.
By fostering direct communication between researchers and society, the event successfully raised awareness about the importance of science and its applications in everyday life.
