On 29 May 2024, the University of Tirana hosted open day visits to two laboratories involved in the EU-funded SUSNANO project.
The tours took place at the Laboratory of Eco-physiological Research within the Department of Biology and the Laboratory of Electrochemical Sensors and Biosensors under the Department of Chemistry.
Students, primarily from Tirana, explored these cutting-edge research facilities and learned about the ongoing scientific investigations related to their diploma and PhD research projects.
During the visits, students were introduced to the advanced equipment and infrastructure used for scientific research. They were also shown simple scientific procedures aimed at making research more accessible and engaging.
The students were further presented with research findings and their practical applications, offering valuable insight into the importance of the work being done at these labs.
