On 30 October 2024, the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tirana welcomed around 20 academic staff members for a comprehensive training session on securing European research funding. Led by Giles Brandon from Intelligentsia Consultants, the presentation highlighted key opportunities within Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, and other EU initiatives designed to foster international research collaboration. The training emphasised networking with European research networks, understanding the Horizon Europe framework, and building partnerships through programmes like COST Actions. This initiative aims to equip faculty members with the tools to enhance their competitiveness in obtaining EU-funded research projects in 2025.
