Objectives of the Workshop:


Join us for a dynamic and immersive workshop dedicated to advancing the intersection between nanotechnology, science, and industry across the Balkan region.


This workshop aims to:


  • Enhance collaboration between academic groups working in the field of nanotechnology and national and international industry representatives.

  • Facilitate networking opportunities to promote partnerships between scientists, NANOBALKAN research teams, and industries interested in nanotechnology research, development, and innovation.

  • Showcase cutting-edge advancements through presentations by academic groups and selected industry representatives, highlighting significant achievements and technological breakthroughs.

  • Attract high-tech industries from Kosova, the Balkans, and beyond, particularly those with vested interests in nanotechnology applications in sectors such as health, environment, energy, and advanced materials.

  • Forge connections with European initiatives such as "The Chips for Europe Initiative" and other EU research and innovation programs, fostering integration into broader European nanotechnology strategies.

  • Drive innovation and economic impact by promoting the application of nanotechnology in key sectors critical for regional development, including healthcare, agriculture, environmental protection, and smart industries.

  • Strengthen the research ecosystem to secure further support and funding opportunities, reinforcing the role of NANOBALKAN as a leading center for nanotechnology excellence and collaboration in the region.

Objectives: To present the progress and achievements of the Ignite Projects developed by research groups at NANOBALKAN Centre and financed by the Academy of Sciences of Albania.
